Sharing nice memories from Easter with friends in various countries.<\/p>\n

2008 – Budapest: no photos (and not many memories unfortunately)<\/p>\n

2009 – Tokyo. A pleasant picnic in Ichigaya, I believe. I was telling my Japanese friends that I couldn’t stand mayonnaise until I tasted the Japanese one.<\/p>\n

2010 – Tel Aviv. I met up with my friends, who invited me to a Moroccan maimouna celebration. But before that we also had fun trying to decorate a few eggs with crayons. I don’t have any photos from that evening, this one is by Osnat. Earlier, my Filipino neighbors suggested that I join them for the Good Friday procession in Jerusalem, which was also quite unique and very international. I was happy to see that one of the Protestant churches sent a woman pastor.<\/p>\n

2012 – Luxembourg. Good morning Uebersyren, we’re off to church with our landlady, holding on to our seats as she’s speeding up and down the serpentines of this hilly region. For my Latvian flatmate and me the mass was the first time we had to listen to Luxembourgish language for so long, having no clue of what\u2032s being said. Quite a cultural experience.<\/p>\n

2013 – Tel Aviv. Enjoying some sunshine before going back to Lithuanian gloom. As you can see, there is dried squid from a local Russian shop.<\/p>\n
